Phyllis Grauer, R.Ph., Pharm.D.

Phyllis is the President and a Consultant Pharmacist with PCCG. She started Palliative Care Consulting Group in 2000 after many years of experience in hospice and palliative care practice settings. She has authored numerous articles and books in the areas of Palliative Care and is considered to be an expert in the field by her colleagues. Phyllis is the Pharmacist Section Leader for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals. She received her B.S. in pharmacy from The Ohio State University and her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas. She is currently an assistant clinical professor with The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and adjunct professor with Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy.

Liz Miles, R.Ph., Pharm.D.

Liz is a consultant pharmacist with PCCG. Her area of interest and expertise is palliative care and hospice medicine. She has developed the reputation of being an excellent palliative care pharmacist by many of her colleagues. She received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Buffalo.

Jason Kimbrel, R.Ph., Pharm.D.

Jason is a consultant pharmacist for PCCG.  Jason graduated with his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and completed his ASHP Pharmacy Practice and Patient/Medication Safety Residency with OhioHealth, Columbus, Ohio.  While at OhioHealth, he contributed to practices that won the first ever ASHP Award for Excellence in Medication-Use Safety, as well as, the 2004 Best Practices Award in Health-System Pharmacy.  Jason is on faculty at Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy and Capital University.  His areas of interest include palliative/end-of-life care, pain management, diseases that affect the central nervous system, and medication safety.

Bridget McCrate Protus, R.Ph., Pharm.D.

Bridget is a consultant pharmacist with PCCG. Bridget graduated with her Doctorate in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and completed her ASHP Ambulatory/Community Care Pharmacy Practice Residency with The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, Columbus, Ohio. In addition, she has a Masters in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. Her practice interests include geriatric pharmacotherapy, and drug information, in addition to hospice and palliative care.

Dori Padavana

Dori is the office manager for PCCG. Her compassion for people and her communication skills make her a vital part of the PCCG team.

Marc Sweeney, R.Ph., Pharm.D.

Marc is a consultant pharmacist with PCCG. He received his B.S. in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and his Doctorate in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University. He completed an Academic Leadership Fellowship at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently the Director and Chair of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Findlay School of Pharmacy and is a Past President of the Ohio Pharmacists Association.

Laura Lochtefeld

Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University.  Laura currently works with the Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (OHPCO).   She currently helps PCCG coordinate continuing education (CE’s) services to their clients.
